Kawartha Conservation Kirkfield Open House
This Open House in conjuction with Trent Matters,will take place from 7 pm to 9 pm at Kirkfield District Lions Club, 973 Portage Road, Kirkfield. Presentations at the Open House will include:

  • Native Turtle Habitat and Conservation, by Jeff Hathaway, Scales Nature Park 
  • Introduction of the Milfoil Weevil in the Trent Severn as a Long Term Management Tool, by Ashley Chlebak, Lab Manager, Enviroscience 
  • Canal & Mitchell Lake Management Plan, plus the Talbot Arm, by Dave Pridham, Manager, Technical and Stewardship Services, Kawartha Conservation and Brian Ginn, Limnologist, Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority
